Warmest greetings from the Organizing Committee of the 16th Congress of the Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (AFSUMB 2024).

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to inform you that AFSUMB 2024 in conjunction with KSUM 2024 will be held from May 9 (Thu) to 11, (Sat), 2023 at COEX, Seoul, Korea.

It is the third time that Korea has the honor to host this prestigious event since organizing it in Seoul in 1992 and 2018. AFSUMB 2024 will propose the best possible program with high quality scientific sessions that will provide a great opportunity for participants to keep up-to-date with the latest research findings in various fields of ultrasound in medicine and biology.

As a part of the AFSUMB 2024 scientific program, a 'Joint Symposium with VSUM' program will be held during the congress. To celebrate the 'Joint Symposium with VSUM' program, the Organizing Committee has decided to offer a special 50% discount this year on the registration fee of participants from Vietnam. We look forward to having many participants from Vietnam.

In addition, AFSUMB 2024 is continuing to accept abstract submissions until February 19 (Mon), 2024. Submitting abstracts to AFSUMB 2024 will offer participants the opportunity to actively take part in the scientific program and contribute to organizing outstanding sessions on a diverse set of topics and research in the field of ultrasound in medicine and biology.
